Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic approach to manual therapy, looking at the whole person and the environment in which they exist. Treatments and assessments can include active (i.e functional movement) and passive (joint articulations, soft tissue, crainio-sacral, etc) therapies along with rehabilitation exercises

Sound Healing

This includes all truly natural approaches to health and wellbeing. Its focus is helping people live in a state where their body and energy field can optimally heal itself and rise to the experiences of each moment. Natural medicine is not symptom management or a process of diagnosis. We encourage an integrated approach to your health.

My name is Angela currie and I am a Registered Yoga teacher and Fascial stretch Therapist with a background in Physio Assisting. I grew up in Northern Ontario where I competitively figure skated for 16 years. This led me to a fascination with the human body, which led me to practicing FST in Toronto, ON with athletes, mental health, stress relief and wellness. This lead me to the world of alternative therapy and the desire to learn how our bodies work and how to heal physically, mentally and spiritually. I’m beyond thrilled to live in BC and help those along their healing process!

Gabriel Linger has always had a keen interest in the human body and how it works. Frequent sport injuries growing up had him seeing a wide range of practitioners including Osteopathy - and has been enamoured with all things Osteopathic since

After completing his Masters in Osteopathy from Victoria University in 2015, Gabriel worked in Melbourne for a year before moving to Canada to study a more functional approach at the Gray Institute in Michigan, USA. In Canada he was based at an Osteopathic practice in Calgary, and was mentored by Osteopath and world leader in scoliosis treatment, Edward Paget. While in Alberta he was introduced to local First Nations groups through a healing ceremony and has continued to explore Indigenous and other alternative healing philosophies and practices.

Now settled in Naramata, BC, Gabriel tries to spend as much time as he can outdoors, when he’s not doting on his son and wife.

Emma was born and raised in the Fraser Valley of BC and spent the first 10 years of her career as a professional dancer, working on film and TV sets, cruise ships, and music videos. When her health began to decline rapidly, she made the challenging decision to retire from dance and focus on healing. Over the next few years, she dedicated herself to learning how to naturally support her body’s healing processes. Experiencing firsthand the transformative power of proper support and the right tools, Emma decided to transition into a new career.

For the past three years, she’s been working as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Integrative Life Coach, and Somatic Trauma Therapy Coach. In her practice, Emma is dedicated to supporting clients with hormone health, fertility, gut health, autoimmunity and weight loss using a bio-individual approach. She promotes the consumption of real nutrient-dense foods, helps clients find deep nourishment and addresses the root causes of their health concerns. Emma believes that health should be looked at and supported from the WHOLE self (body, mind and soul) not just one organ or approach.

Outside of work, Emma lives on a rural homestead in the Kootenay-Boundary area with her husband, where they grow food, raise animals, and foster a deep connection with nature.

Self-motivated by nature and her own journey of overcoming lifelong back pain, Jamie empowers clients to reclaim their vitality to live pain-free. Her SME training is based on the pioneering work of Dr. Thomas Hanna, who developed Clinical Somatic Education to retrain the nervous system, release tension, and improve mobility and well-being.
